Updated: Omaha Man Charged in Multi-Count Case Involving Trafficking and Child Exploitation Allegations

Update: Four other individuals were arrested as part of a child sex trafficking investigation. In a press release from the Omaha Police Department, those arrested include:
Amy Hicks, 39 – charged with income tax evasion, possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material, pandering, conspiracy to commit sex trafficking, and keeping a place of prostitution.
Douglas Johnson, 54 – charged with possession of child sexual abuse material, pandering, and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking.
Scott Nelson, 52 – charged with possession and manufacturing of child sexual abuse material, pandering, and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking.
Steven Harper, 56 – charged with keeping a place of prostitution and aiding and abetting pandering.
Amy Hicks is a city of Omaha finance employee. Thomas Falcon, who was arrested at his place of employment, works as a Chief Financial Officer for a local electrical company.
Officials said these arrests represent the culmination of months of coordinated investigative work between local and federal partners.
Original Story: Thomas E. Falcon has been charged in Douglas County District Court with multiple felony counts related to alleged child exploitation and trafficking offenses.
According to court documents, the charges include possession of child pornography, pandering, criminal conspiracy, labor or sex trafficking, labor or sex trafficking of a minor, visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct involving a minor, and keeping a place of prostitution. The alleged offenses occurred between June 2022 and August 2024.
The charges range from Class IV to Class IB felonies under Nebraska law. According to witnesses, Falcon was arrested at his place of employment this morning after a warrant was issued yesterday.
