Omaha Scanner has obtained complete unedited audio from inside the room of a passionate community meeting at the Omaha Police Headquarters on Monday, June 1st, 2020.
Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts, Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert, Omaha Police Department Chief Todd Schmaderer and support staff met with well respected Preachers and community leaders to discuss ongoing events.
The meeting was held after a press conference by Ricketts, Stothert and Schmaderer. Earlier in the day Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine announced he would not charge bar owner Jake Gardner in the shooting death of James Scurlock at that time.
The recording appears to begin shortly after the meeting starts.

Thursday, June 4th, 2020 at 3:38 p.m. Omaha Scanner received an email from an unknown sender using the email address DudleyDoRight402. The email was sent from ProtonMail, a secure email platform based in Switzerland.
Attached in the email was a link to a WeTransfer file. WeTransfer is a file sharing platform.
The attached file is an audio clip that is one hour four minute and 23 seconds long. The clip contains audio from the community meeting. We have provided the audio clip in its entirety as it was sent to us.
This audio clip expands on that of an audio clip in a YouTube video posted by an individual who claimed to be a part of Anonymous, an international activist and hacktivist collective. Shortly after posting on YouTube, the individual sent Omaha Scanner a Direct Message Tuesday night from a Twitter profile under the username @ArcanusAnon with a link to the YouTube video.
Omaha Scanner confirmed the authenticity of the small audio clip in the video through Taylor Gage, a spokesperson for the governor's office.
Omaha Scanner requested the complete unedited audio from the Twitter account. A reply was not received until just before 10 p.m. Wednesday. The reply from the Twitter account included a link to another YouTube video, which again did not include the complete unedited audio.
